DLC Characters Who Should Join, But Probably Won't Ultimate characters specifically into Melee due to its reputation as one of the most competitively viable games in the series. Some modders enjoy bringing Super Smash Bros. A series mod called Smash Remix consistently updates the first Super Smash Bros. game for Nintendo 64 by including later generation characters like Young Link and Lucas, as well as incorporating original character mods like Super Mario 64's Mad Piano. Ultimate features over to earlier franchise titles like Melee or inserting entirely new playable characters into the game.
